We had the same thing happen for our AP application. I recently saw that document mailed on the 17th. They processed both our cases at the same time. if I were you, I wouldnt worry. I had efiled on June 18.

If I understand correctly, once the I-140 is approved, the PD is fixed. Make sure you have all the details of your privious I-140.
you can take up new FT and once the new I-140 is approved and if EB2 July is current at that time, you can ask USCIS to apply that PD to your new I-140. Also the new I-140 needs to be with same or similar job duties / description.

Hi,
I am in the process of moving between jobs. The old job is a teaching job in a university and the new one is a research position in a non-profit think tank. So there is no H1B quota issue for both jobs.
The H1B for the old job won't expire unit next year. I have received the H1B for the new job. The start date for the new H1B is Sept. 1st.
My question is: Can I start my new job before Sept. 1st? I understand that for H1B transfer, one can start the new job once the application receipt from USCIS is received. But in my case, I have already got the new H1B and the start date on that is Sept 1st.

You can get quite far using just Blend, but you probably want to use Visual Studio for the coding and debugging features that Blend doesn't have.

It doesn't detract from the image quality.
It doesn't change the aperture (speed) of the lens.
However, you only get manual focusing, manual exposoure and manual aperture settings. So you don't get any of the fancy features that the camera offers.
Considering that the above site is asking a rather large amount of money for the adapter itself, I'd say that it's probably only worth it if you find some good old manual Nikon lenses [it's no point in getting fancy AF, VR lenses, as either of those features will not work anyways].

TSC is not processing most EB3 I485. This is not supposed to be revealed publicly. It is wrong, so that's why I'm speaking out.

I'm getting a visa stamping date in Kolkata embassy but I'm from New Delhi. I dont want to take a chance and wait till the dates in New Delhi embassy are available. Can I schedule interview in Kolkata and later when dates become available in New Delhi change it ? I mean can I change the venue of my appointment ?

Dallas-Fort Worth Immigration Lawyer Has Just Posted the Following:
Effective January 4, 2010, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Center for Disease Control and Prevention (HHS/CDC) is removing HIV from the list of communicable diseases of public health significance and references to HIV from the scope of medical examinations for foreign nationals.
Until the rule goes into effect, non-citizens who are HIV-positive cannot be admitted into the U.S. unless the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) grants a waiver. Once the rule goes into effect on January 4, 2010, HIV infection will no longer be defined as a communicable disease of public health significance, immigrant visa applicants who are required to undergo a medical screening exam will no longer be tested for HIV, a waiver for entry into the U.S. will no longer be necessary, and HIV-positive visa applicants will not be found ineligible for visas under Section 212(a)(1)(A)(i) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). Although foreign nationals with HIV who apply for visas will no longer be ineligible under INA Section 212(a)(1)(A)(i), they still must overcome the public charge under INA Section 212(a)(4) by demonstrating to the consular officers that they will have the means of support in the U.S. and that they will not need to seek public financial assistance. Hi all,
I submitted an application via premium processing for EB-1a with USCIS at the Texas Premium Processing Centre last month (April 2007).
I received an RFE notification via letter after two weeks listing the requirement of further evidence against 3 out of the 8 criteria I submitted.
I can submit further evidence - but my question is this ... "Why have they not made mention of the other 5 criteria I submitted" ? Has this failed ? Do they not matter ?. I am quite concerned because they have not made any mention of my other criteria ? Does anyone have any advice.

How do I answer #37 of the DS-156?
The applicant's (my mother-in-law) son( my husband) is in the U.S. illegally. I am US cit. and my husband needs to report to visa interview within the next year. We have been post-poning due to medical issues. In the meanwhile we hope my mother-in-law can come here to visit her granddaughter.( I am unable to travel). #37 of the DS-156 asks if any body is in US. We should answer YES, because her son is here, BUT, what do we put for his status? Illegal? I read one article that stated to mark YES only if he has legal status. I do not want to put NO, immigration already knows he is here and we do not want to be dishonest.
Any ideas?
